General Summary:
The Development Administrator will coordinate resource development efforts for a small non-profit fundraising team focused on foundation, individual, corporate and major donor fundraising. Our aim is to grow our relationships year-on-year in order to facilitate the work of our organization. We work with homeless and at-risk men, women and families.

Summary of the Role:
• Part of the fund development team
• To deliver efficient and conscientious administrative and program support
• To act as the first point of contact for incoming fundraising inquiries and activities
• To assist with all activities which help to raise funds (including the preparation of proposals and reports, written communications, printed collateral, audio-visual materials, appeals, events, accurate record-keeping etc.)
• To assist with the coordination and implementation of the organization's events that raise funds.
• To coordinate volunteer services.
• To operate within the ethos and culture of the organization and to promote our values outwardly.

Qualifications:
• Completion of a Bachelor's degree or four years equivalent experience in a comparable position.
• Full Microsoft Office Suite knowledge is required, specifically must have strong Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills (Salesforce.com experience a plus)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Basic math skills
• Well organized and task oriented
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Work well in a team environment
